Overview
DC01 is a cold-rolled low-carbon steel designation used for cold-forming sheet and strip under EN 10130. Order the exact grade, standard edition and delivery condition rather than treating DC01, SPCC or an ASTM A1008 designation as interchangeable. State thickness and width tolerances, surface quality and finish, oiling and edge condition against the part drawing.
For cabinet panels, blanks or lightly formed parts, explain the forming sequence, bend geometry, exposed faces and subsequent painting or coating. The grade name alone does not establish suitability for deep drawing, a structural load or a finished coating system. Agree any mechanical-property requirements and testing basis with the specification. Record coil inside diameter, outside diameter or mass limits, winding and handling requirements, surface protection and coil identification. Include inspection documents and acceptance criteria in the inquiry so the quotation can address the actual order.
Product scope
- DC01, SPCC and ASTM designations require separate specification review.
- Surface quality, finish and oiling are distinct order requirements.
- Forming suitability depends on the part and delivery condition.
